Superior body construction = longevity

Manufactured for durability, our lugger trucks have a robust body construction featuring ½” A500 steel side walls and a one-piece 3/8” steel floor. The inclusion of 3/8” steel plate cross members and ½” A500 plate solid arms guarantees long-lasting strength and resilience. With careful attention to detail, including ½” wear strips on the bed floor, our trucks have been engineered to withstand the rigours of heavy-duty hauling – no matter what’s in your cab or the size of the load.

The 120” arms, powered by 2500 PSI cylinders with chrome shafts, make for a more seamless operation. Easy to load containers

The way our luggers are designed means loading is always an easy task. Arm hinge pins are positioned above the bed for enhanced lifting capacity, and this placement allows containers of all sizes to sit 12” above the bed. The level lifting mechanism is complemented by 100,000-lb yield lift chains to guarantee consistent, secure loading for all sorts of hauling needs on any job site.

Dumping the Container

Dumping your container loads is made much more convenient by doing do in a pile instead of a line. This is possible thanks to the high dump angle, while the higher cylinder contact point gives you complete stability when dumping. this mechanism eliminates the need for repositioning to make dumping more precise. Lifting containers at least 12” above the floor also prevents damage that can lead to leaking for highly efficient container discharge.

Dump Keys

Unlike using traditional J-Hooks, ACE lugger trucks use dump keys integrated with chains and lift keys. This means you can trust that the keys are always in the correct position for dumping. Our patented system eliminates the need to reposition containers, and the contact cylinders won’t slide with the dump key in place. Compliant with Cargo Securement Requirements on containers 48” or taller, our lugger truck system provides you with stability and reliability that surpasses all industry standards.

Outrigger Cylinders

The fixed outrigger cylinders in our lugger trucks are encased in a fully contained and reinforced sleeve. By preventing the cylinder from moving, this reduces the chances of damage. Given our focus on making every truck and trailer more accessible, our lugger truck design makes maintenance and repairs a breeze.

Arm Cylinders

All of our lugger trucks’ arm cylinders have been designed with heavy-duty use in mind. They provide exceptional lifting capacity and ongoing durability thanks to their welded construction and 100,000-lb yield 3½” chrome shafts. Equipped with a heavy-duty reusable packing box, HD drop pin crossheads and 3” pins with grease fittings, you can expect to get 153,000 lbs of lifting capacity per cylinder.

Transporting Cargo and Container Distribution

You want your lugger truck to be able to transport loads smoothly while distributing container weight safely. And that’s exactly what you’ll get here. By positioning the hinge point higher and further forward in the body, the container can be lifted closer to the cab. This creates even weight distribution across the front axle and everywhere else along the lugger truck.
