More trailers. More versatility. The same commitment to quality.
At ACE, we’re always looking for ways to better serve our customers. Earlier this year, we set out to expand our product lineup to include end dump trailers and gondola trailers, two products our customers had been asking about for years.
But adding new equipment to our lineup wasn’t simply about finding a manufacturer. It was about finding the right manufacturer. One that shared our commitment to quality, durability, and building equipment that works as hard as the people using it.
After exploring several manufacturers, we found our match in Armor Lite Trailers of Sikeston, Missouri.
Built on Experience, Backed by Quality
Although Armor Lite was officially established in 2011, the experience behind the company goes back decades.
Owners Jim, Tom, and Wes began their careers working at CPS straight out of high school. Roughly a decade later, they founded CTS, building it into a recognized name in the end dump trailer industry before selling the company in 2005.
Once their non-compete agreement expired, the trio returned to what they knew best: building high-quality trailers. Armor Lite Trailers was born, bringing decades of manufacturing knowledge and experience to a new generation of equipment.
Today, Armor Lite manufactures a full line of aluminum trailers designed for demanding applications across multiple industries.
Their product lineup includes:
- End Dump Trailers: Available in frameless and full-frame configurations for a variety of hauling applications.
- Gondola Trailers: Including frameless designs engineered to maximize bulk material capacity.
- Half-Round Dump Trailers: Well-suited for aggregate hauling, construction, and other heavy-duty applications.
- Grain Hopper Trailers: Designed for efficient agricultural bulk material transportation.
- Bottom Dump Trailers: Built for efficient material unloading and versatile hauling operations.
From scrap and recycling to construction and agriculture, Armor Lite offers equipment designed to get the job done.

A Partnership That Just Makes Sense
For years, ACE customers have asked us the same question: “Can you get us an end dump or gondola trailer?”
Until now, those weren’t products we could offer. But with our established relationships in the scrap, recycling, and waste industries, we knew there was an opportunity to do more.
ACE equipment is already a familiar sight at recycling yards and waste facilities. We understand the challenges operators face, the demands placed on their equipment, and the importance of having trailers that can stand up to tough working conditions.
That industry knowledge was equally attractive to Armor Lite.
By combining Armor Lite’s trailer manufacturing expertise with ACE’s understanding of the scrap and waste markets, we’ve created a partnership that benefits both companies and, more importantly, our customers.
It’s a natural fit built on shared values, complementary expertise, and a commitment to providing dependable equipment.

Bringing More Options to ACE Customers
A successful partnership takes more than a great product. It takes great people.
Working with Jamie Mills at Armor Lite has made the transition into this new product category a smooth one. Jamie’s guidance, industry knowledge, and willingness to work closely with our team have helped us confidently introduce these trailers to ACE customers.
We’re also grateful to the customers who have embraced this new chapter and trusted us to help them find the right equipment for their operations.
With Armor Lite in our corner, we’re excited to offer even more solutions for the industries we know best.
You Asked. We Listened. Now We Can Deliver.
